Charitable IRA Rollover: You can use your IRA to fulfill your charitable goals and help further the mission of SingUnited. If you are 70 1/2 or older you can take advantage of a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). Through a QCD, you can enjoy substantial benefits with tax savings while making a meaningful impact.

Benefits of an IRA charitable rollover:

• Avoid taxes on transfers of up to $111,000 from your IRA to our organization in 2026.
• This transfer benefit is per person so married couples can each make a QCD from their own IRA.
• If you are 70 1/2 or older, it may satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year.
• Reduce your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions.
• Help further the mission of our organization.

  How an IRA charitable rollover gift works:

1. Contact your IRA plan administrator to make a gift from your IRA to us.
2. Your IRA funds will be directly transferred to our organization in support of our mission.
3. Please note that IRA charitable rollover gifts do not qualify for a charitable deduction.
4. Please contact us if you wish for your gift to be used for a specific purpose.

For individuals who are subject to the RMD, your rollover from your IRA may qualify for your annual RMD distribution. You will not pay income tax on the amount you transfer to create your CGA.
